I have run some 2-D gels and have silver stained them. Now, I want to know which spot is my target protein; just wondering if I can western blot one of those 2-D gels. I am trying to stay away from running another 2-D.
Is immunoblotting possible after the gel has been silver stained

Probably no as the protein was being fixed
