Hi,

I left my RNA in aqueous phase of Trizol/chloroform + isopropanol in -80.  Would it still be OK to continue with the extraction?  I thought it would be safer than leaving it in -20, but then I thought freeze/thaw would be bad.

Thanks

Hey, if you have gone upto isoprop step, RNA is no longer in aqueous phase really!! It has precipitated, and in alcohol. It is happy as hell!! You did the right thing in leaving it at -80. LN2 would have been even better. Never heard of freeze thaw bad for RNA too. Don't worry, do your stuff!!
