it would appear that you can't rate your own topics. this is at the top of the page.

its obvious that I cannot rate my own topics, but there are post which can be rated like yours and others that cannot *wacko* but maybe it depends on the sub-forum where it is posted?????

no serious: I just wanted to know how it works.....some posts have this function and some don't I found it strange.

i guess that bioforum enabled (or disabled) the function in some fora.
