I just started to work on 2-D proteomics for phosphorylated proteins. I tried to label the proteins with 33P, which gave us really weak signals, so we are thinking to switch it to 32P. Is this a good idea?

Where could I purchase inexpensive and good quality radioisotopes?

We order all our isotopes from Amersham. The price we actually got is much lower than the listed price. I don't know why.
