I use genelute from sigma. Not the cheapest but quick and simple. No messing about with ethanol/isopropanol precipitations at the end. Less steps to go wrong, reliable and good yield

I normally use Qiagen, or Macherey-Nagel which is the same but cheaper. I'm not getting good yields, though. Next time I'll be sure to try this Genelute thing.

We use Qiagen or Macherey-Nagel kit, too. but with good results. Qiagen Gigapreps really rule - IMHO.
