I want to know Which the specific region of Ig bind with protein A? and What Ig spp. can bind with protein A, e.g. cattle, rat, human, ruminant, mammal?

The Pierce website, a supplier of protein A, protein G and protein A/G has all of this kind of info http://www.piercenet...F7-B9787ED36581. It binds strongly to the Fc region of human and mouse IgG's although the binding to cow and sheep is weak and you may be better off with Protein G with these species.
