To check the quality of total RNA of bacteria, i run it with common TAE-agrose(1%) on 50V for 30min, but the band of 23srRNA and 16srRNA were not separated clearly, being so different with previous results.who can tell me what probems with the procedure?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi,

i usually run my quality check on a denaturing formaldehyde gel, that should give you the resolution you're looking for :)
