hi all

could anyone tell me what the best loading control is for western blotting. I work on yeast and so I'm wondering if people use actin or is there something very specific to yeast people.

thanks

Pat

just thought that I would answer my own question

Actin is not cell cycle regulated and therefore a good loading control for cell cycle work. others including phospho-glycerate kinase and GAPDH do show some differences during the cell cycle
