hi
i'm trying to make a solution of edta 0.5M
as said in books, edta will dissolve in ph near 8
but i want an edta solution at ph 7.2 without any chloridric acid addition.
is it possible?

thanks

hi

I've never heard of EDTA at a pH lower than 8. :)
Sorry can't be of much help. Definitely doesn't dissolve using HCl until you reach very close to 8.

EDTA won't go into solution until you reach pH 8.0.
