Can someone help me with extraction of DNA from plasma/serum?
I tryied with Quiagen DNA blood midikit: very low DNA concentration.
Another question, it is better serum or plasma?

Do not you need lymphocytes? Therefore you need whole blood to get gDNA.

I know it's possible to extract DNA from both serum and plasma, but have no personal experience with this. You don't need lymphs to get DNA - there is a free DNA in plasma. The question is of what quality and quantity... I am afraid you woun't get somehow good yields even when using Qiagen kits...
