Hey
Does anybody know a good sensitive reversible total protein detection on PVDF membranes that doesn't interfere with the following antibody detection and chromogene visualisation (BCIP/NBT)?

Thanks
Mette

Ponceau S works realy well. I  stain the membrane after transfer to check for efficiency. It takes 5 minutes and the stain washes off in water. Any residual stain of the bands is long gone by the end of the western. This stain is not all that sensitive compared to Coomassie but it depends on what you are looking for and how much you loaded in the well.
