I've been trying to lay hands on this product:5-methyl-2'deoxycytidine 3' monophosphate. But Sigma doesn't do this anymore. Neither do Lancaster chemicals, UK. The other option may be to synthesise the product in our chemistry lab. Does anyone have some ideas as to the quickest way to get hold of this methylated nucleotide?
It's one of the standards we intend to use for hplc analysis of global DNA methylation in fish tissues. Thanks. SOA
