Does anyone know of any free densitometry programs other than ImageJ? I have been trying all day to use ImageJ to just give me relative differences in my bands using the "gels" command but my peaks are not clear. Anyone have any ideas or similar problems?

you can use Adobe Photoshop (well, I know it's not free, but just mentioning it in case you have it already), as long as you keep the bands i.e. boxes with ALL yours sample, at similar sizes...
