Hello!
Id like to know How many Saccharomyces are there in a mg. of deshidrated comercial product. Ive a comercial pastille of 20gr of dry Saccharomices and Ive no idea of How many cells there are.

If someone can help me...I dont need to know the exact number but an aproximatly one.

hi

there could be around 10^6 cells per mg of ur sample i suppose. u can do a plating on YPG agar after diluting in YPG broth and check for the titre.
