I am about to start working with S2 cells.  Does anyone have a good protocol or know of one for stable transfection of S2 cells and what kinds of selection are used?

i know Drosophila-Schneider 2 cells (DS-2). if that's what you mean, i could give you a paper with a protocol for stable transfection of those.
