Hi,Why do you want precipitate protein in 8M urea?-I think that a protein purification is preferable if there is a good amount of your protein.- generaly, we precipitate a protein with TCA when the protein amont is too small for coomassie staining or blot.-You can dialysis about eliminate 8M urea then precipitate with TCA-Or you can try precipitate with ammonium sulfategood lukemichel

Hi everybodyI tried to TCA precipitate proteins that were in a buffer containing 8 M urea, it doesn't work! What can I do to precipitate my proteins?
