Dear BioForum Users,
As we all know, RNAi or RNA interference is a highly conserved defense mechanism and also a revolutionary technology for gene silencing. RNAi is directed by double-stranded short RNA (dsRNA) or small interfering RNA (siRNA). siRNA directed gene silencing has been found to occur at both transcriptional and post-transcriptional level. Other small RNA molecules such as microRNA also participate in gene expression regulation through mechanisms similar to RNAi. Thus, a whole new picture of gene regulation by small RNAs seems to be unveiling, more and more labs are jumping into this field. Here we have created a new forum on RNAi and related topics for us to exchange ideas, share experience, seek help.
Enjoy!
