Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to transform E. coli with two different plasmids. Would coli accept a second plasmid after being transformed with a first one and made competent again? Or would it be possible to transform with two or more plasmids at the same time?

Thanks

This thread may help http://www.protocol-...ct=ST&f=2&t=789

Als check this site http://www.mun.ca/bi...s/plasmids.html. Depending on their compatibility, some plasmids can coexist in the same cell, some cannot.
