I'm sure the authors didn't have any capitalistic intentions in mind...or if they had any intentions whatsoever. The fact that their creations have reached out to so many people surprises me. Of course, there isn't a simple reason as to why, as there may be a multitude of reasons for people keeping their faith. Some today don't even follow the Bible yet still declare themselves belonging to X faith in Christianity.
Yup, and you are dead right that we are all sheep...yet it is sad that the black sheep fight with the white ones. Skin color, ideas, religious faiths, politics, money, power...this pathetic human race has fought over the most obscure reasons. Sadness. Oblivious sadness.
EDIT: I find it pretty ironic how the pro-life people snipe down abortion doctors. There's too much blood in my alcohol system, I'm sorry.
