Hi all
I am always getting chromosomal DNA when isolating plasmid by alkaline lysis. Can anybody help me to get rid of this?

Hi, Vijay,
I think you maybe use too long time for lysising your cells and you didnt do it gently. You have to follow the protocol. If you let it stand only 3-4 min after you add lysis solution and invert gently (don't use Vortex). the outcome maybe improved.
