Don't know about lowest levels, but adding acetylated bsa is supposed to help (life technologies focus journal)i have not tried it though

Pick a kit that was designed for sensitivity. We saw some advertisement for a kit from Sigma andthey were right. The kit did really well with low abundance RNA. But the best way is to simply try a kitand maybe it works.
