Hi everybody

I would like to use ISSR as molecular markers. I have found two methods to visualise PCR products : polyacrylamide-silver staining gel and Agarose gel. Can you tell me what is the best method, and the gel concentration usualy used?

thank you in advance

When i want to analyze if i have PCR product,
I use 2% agarose gel stained with EtBr (ethidiumbromide) ~5 µl EtBr to a 50 ml agarose gel.

But the concentration of the gel is dependent on wich size our fragment have.

I use 2% to a fragment size of 150bp.

Good luck!
