It is a common piece of science laboratory equipment that produces a single open glass flame.
It is mainly used for heating, sterilization, and combustion.
the gas in Bunsen burner can be a natural gas(methane) or a liquefied petroleum gas.
Scientists or a laboratory practitioner use bunsen burner to burns a continuous stream of a flammable gas such as natural gas.
There are many variants of bunsen burner:
Teclu burner 
The lower part of the tube is conical with around screw.
It provides a better mixing of air and fuel.
Meker Burner:
It has more opening which facilitate better mixing of gas.
Alcohol burner:
 A spirit lamp is a piece of laboratory equipment used to produce an open flame. It can be made from brass, glass, stainless steel or aluminum.
Heating mantle:
A heating mantle, or isomantle, is a piece of laboratory equipment used to apply heat to containers, as an alternative to other forms of heated bath.
