Can anybody recommend a good paper which I can follow for EDC/NHS coupling of Ab to -COOH-NP

directions should have come with the material. i've performed this coupling several times just following the instructions that came with the kit, gel, and/or coupling agent. if you don't have the instruction sheet then you can obtain it from the website of the company from which you obtained the materials.

I am not using any commercially purchased nanoparticles. The ones we are using are novel and synthesized by one student in our collaborator's lab

The data sheet that comes with the nhs should give instructions. If not then the website of the nhs manufacturer should have it available.

 

if neither is possible then you can look for the instructions of a commercially available coupling system on a companies website. Pierce has one called the antibody orientation system (they’re part of Thermofisher).

 

you can also look at the coupling gels available from ge healthcare life sciences. They also offer, free for download, manuals for the use of their materials.
