Hi all!

I am very new to the field of microarrays and need help sorting through data.  I have a dataset that was produced on an Agilent 4x44K two color array that has already been normalized with LOWESS to obtain M and A values.  However, half of the samples have M/A values, and the other half have maM/maA values.  I am unfamiliar with this- does anyone know how the maM/maA values are calculated or why?  I was hoping there was a way to back-calculate these values so that the dataset is uniform with only M and A values instead.

Thanks so much for your help everyone!

-Kristin
