"Z" was incubated with DC. A particular known antigen "Z" failed to induce high CD4+ T cell response (Scenario 1). But if you had incubated "Z" with LPS, there will be a high CD4+ T cell response (scenario 2).

What had happen during scenario 1? Any hints?

For scenario 2, am I right to think that LPS was an adjuvant therefore leading to an enhancement of T cell response against "Z"?

Thanks for reading and have a nice day.
