The oxidant-sensing fluorescent probe 2',7'-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA) is a nonpolar dye, converted into the polar derivative DCFH by cellular esterases that are nonfluorescent but switched to highly fluorescent DCF when oxidized by intracellular ROS.
But, In the lab, only we have 2-7 dichlorofluorescein (DCF), not diacetate!!!! does anyone know if it can be measure and how? is there any protocol to do it with DFC.
Thank in advance.
