Reduction of Foam formation

While dissolving the protein pellet with sodium lauryl sarcosine (SLS), large amount of foam has formed. Is there any possibility to reduce foam production during mixing? Can i use a loop for mixing the protein pellet with SLS?

sls is a surfactant and will foam if traded vigorously.

 

you can use a spatula to help suspend the pellet or rod or ...
