Hi, I was wondering if anyone has labeled actin in neurons with mouse anti-beta actin and/or phalloidin? If you have used both, were there any differences observed, other than beta actin labeling all actin and phalloidin labeling only f-actin?
I have labeled fixed brain tissue from rats with both, and I have noticed phalloidin seems to be labeling the blood vessels while beta actin does not. This suggests that what phalloidin is labeling is not f-actin but was not sure if others have observed anything similar or any additional differences.
Also if you have used either, which would you recommend based on what you observed?
I would appreciate any information!
Thanks
