I have an image which shows staining for an antibody. It is a membrane bound antibody.
But I see an empty spot which I assume is the nucleus and the surrounding area where there is staining is the membrane. Am I correct in my assumption?
If it was NeuN antibody, the empty spot/black hole in the image should have been stained and the other region wouldn't have been stained. Please correct me if I am wrong.
