Hey all!

I wanna contruct a haplotype tree like these . I've already tried MEGA, TreeView, DendroScope, Geneious but I could create this type of tree. Can anyone suggest an appropriate software or online tools. It is important to assign polymorphic sites on the tree. haplogroup-h-later.jpg

the easiest option would be an organigram or flowchart software if the lengths of the branches is not important (e.g. Powerpoint) ...

and what type of date you have? Distances? sequences? what inference method?

Other programs are:

R (free, but difficult but all possibilities depending on packages)

Treegraph 2

PAUP (not free, Parsimony trees)

You can also construct a good tree by one of such special software for tree construction, and then export the tree as a graphics file and open and add other information with some graphics software or powerpoint...

One must presume that long and short arguments contribute to the same end. - Epicurus
