The thing is, i'm getting contradictionary information on the necessity of centrifuging blood samples (for serum and plasma preparation) at 4 degrees.

One of the articles i found states that the centrifuagation temperature produced slight, but quite negligible changes




but on the other hand, most of the protocols for sample preparation i come across i see people using refrigeration.

So is there something i'm missing here? ]
