Hi guys,

I am trying to express a protein using a plasmid cloned with my target gene.

The expression in lactococcus using said plasmid is well established.

I've decided to change the expression system to lactobacillus.

But I wonder if it'll work?

Any advice? Any literature or thing I should find out before involving in an otherwise fruitless project?

ps: The info on said plasmid is hard to find, so far by googling only 2 journals used that plasmid as vector, and both used lactococcus as expression system.

Thanks.
