Have anybody ever performed DNA biotinylation? I'm in trouble with a photobiotinylation protocol, because I cannot find the required lamp, but I don't know how stringent illumination conditions are.... can I use a 100 W halogen lamp?

Yes, the 100 W Halogen lamp will work; increase time by one half of that in your protocol.
