Hi y'all,

I am planning on transforming yeast cells w/ 2 low copy constructs (ARS-CEN), each one containing a distinct auxotrophix marker (His3 on one plasmid and Ura3 on the other one). Could you please confirm me that it is possible to transform yeast cells w/ multiple low-copy vectors (ARS-CEN) ? If I keep selection pressure, both plasmids should segregate correctly into the daughter cells, isn't it?

Thanks in advance for your precious time and help on such a basic question.
