Hi all,

I have noticed a number of people have written about "ChIP grade" antibodies not working in ChIP but work well in western blot. It turns out my issue is the exact opposite. I read my westernblot wrong but had carried out the chip experiment already, before I knew. My qPCR data explicitly show enrichment for my locus of interest but my antibody doesn't recognise the denatured form of the peptide. my samples are in the HiSeq as I write this. Is it still possible for me to have a strong argument in favor that this is actually my protein of interest? Are there any references to this in publications?
