I have a question to all who knows the answer: Where can I find money (10000-20000$) for my research?
I work in the scientific institution located in Ukraine. Our authority don't give a money for the investigations and don't have department where I can apply the grant project and get a money. I have looked through the many international funds but I have not found any opportinity to take a grant. My work is closly connected with plant phytopathology and genetics. Maybe somone knows how I can get a money or go abroad to commit my work.
The answers with URL references are welcome.

Depends upon what level of training you have. BS, MS, PhD? You can come over to US for a fellowship if you are already PhD.

So. Now that you have your first ever question on bioforum answered (or not), mail yourself your username and password so you don't forget them, and then come back soon to update us on how it all worked out. That's how you build Karma in science.

Unusual and new would be crowdfunding for science, but needs some special effort and a "marketable" topic.
see here or here.

I am PhD student and I know that there are many funds give a money for the scholarships but I am not sure that I could make my research in some laboratory. I don't aware If some laboratory has all reagents that totally cost several thousands dollars. I need to clone one gene and will be glad to make a work somewhere or at home but my attempts to find clear information about all this were unsuccessful.
