Dear all,

Although there are several templates to prepare a CV, but there are no study that compares the efficiency of different templates. Do you have any idea which template is the best for applying an academic position and graduate scholarship?

I guess there are so many, it will be difficult to make a study. So only general guidelines how to make a good one (clear layout, no gimmicks, no obvious gaps, etc ) and the general question if the oldest or newest position should be first (though this might be branch and country specific) might be worth to study. And perhaps content so some degree (some add hobbies for example which is imo questionable).

And finally: Your content/data is surely much much more important than any "great" template.

BTW, moved the thread to this section.

That is....if she posts at all.
