Dear All,

Recently, we have ordered cell lines like MG-63 and THP-1 cells from a cell repository. It took a week for the cells to get delivered from the dispatch point. There was fungal contamination of MG-63 cells and also all the THP-1 cells were settled on to the substratum.

What can be the maximum no.of days the cells can be in medium during transport and what could have caused the contamination in MG-63 and settling down of THP-1 cells...

What will be the composition of the medium used for transport of cell lines?

Please educate me in this regard.

Thank you.WP_20141128_12_10_48_Pro.jpg WP_20141128_12_08_51_Pro.jpg
