i want to calculate  transfection efficiency.

the expt is: i plated 10(6) cells, used  calcium phosphate method, transfected GFP plasmid. after 7 days on G418 selection,  how do i calculate the efficiency of transfection based on amount of DNA used and the cell number plated ?
plz sueegst me any book or weblink which will give me a n answer.
