Is this enzyme efficient for blunting both 5' and 3' protruding ends? Also, I have been told that it is not good to leave the reaction for more than 15 minutes because the T4 may have nuclease activity after that. Does anyone have a protocol that works well? I put the reaction at 37 degrees C for 30 min but I have also seen others use 16/ 11 degrees.
