Hi everyone,

What should I do for venom gland tissue homogenization from scorpion? If I keep the tissue in liquid nitrogen, is it okey to add lysis buffer directly to the frozen tissue, or is it possible to grind it with beads without adding buffer? It is small and soft tissue, so what is the most convenient way to homogenize it without damaging RNAs?

For a small soft tissue, pretty much anything will work, but it is probably easiest to grind with a little bit of dry ice , which will sublime, leaving your tissue nicely ground.
