I am new to cell culturing and am hoping that some of you could help me with a few simple questions please? I will be working with L6 myoblast cells and also primary skeletal muscle myoblast cells.
I have just bought some insulin (10 mg/ml) from Sigma (http://www.sigmaaldr...ng=en®ion=GB) and would like to dilute this down in PBS and keep stocks in small aliquots in the freezer.
My questions are;
1. What uM concentration would be appropriate for to store?
2. How long can I store it for?
3. Would storing them at -20C be OK, or would it require -80C?
Any help on this matter would be hugely appreciated.
