Hi everyone,

I'm trying to revive a vial of SF268 cells (purchased from NCI through a local supplier shipped halfway around the globe) using RPMI with 10% FBS and 2mM L-glutamine in a T25 cell culture flask. I spin-down the original vial content, discarded the supernatant, resuspended the cells with fresh media and added to the flask.

However, after 24 hours all the cells are still floating/in suspension. Are the cells still viable? Should I wait longer to see if they adhere? Any suggestions?

Thank you for the help.
