Hello,

I used to use Strategen site-direct mutagenesis kits to introduce mutations to my plasmid, which always worked for me. However, a few years ago Strategen was acqired by Agilent. Iater I tried Agilent mutagenesis kits, and found they were not reliable, most of time not working. Can you guys recommend a better, reliable commercial mutagenesis kits? Thanks!

You don't need a kit for this - just some proof-reading polymerase and the same primers you would use for the Qickchange kit.
