Hi!

I am in the process of buying a real-time system. I though I was pretty convinced that ABI 7500 was about the best choice for us. We are doing mainly validation of microarray targets, so I like the 96-well plate format as this allows more controls and different template on a single plate. From my experience about 2 years ago (on AB7700), I dont trust inter-assay comparison so the more on the same plate the better...

However, somebody is trying real hard to convince me that Corbett's Rotor Gene 3000 was a much better machine...

Anybody with experience on both platforms?

Any other suggestions or things to consider beffore buying...

Thanks for any comments!
