Hello,

I want to isolate RNA to use Tripure Reagent. I have 7 mg tissue and I used 700 ul Tripure Reagent. For homogenisation, I used the following product.

http://www.sigmaaldr...ng=en&region=US

I done it roughly 20 min. but have incomplete sample homogenization.

Do you have any idea about this issue?

did you follow the instructions for the use of tripure?

the homogenizer you're using may not be giving you proper shearing (they recommend teflon-glass or polytron).
