I want to grow the culture of recombinant Lactococcus lactis for the purpose of immunization. After centrifugation and resuspension of the bacteria to a particular concentration in PBS (pH 7.2), can I preserve it somehow (say at 5C or -80C) for reuse as booster later or should I grow fresh bacteria each time for booster?
