I autoclave Sodium Tungstate before adding it to the media in order to sterilize it. Does it affect the metal solubility or uptake by the bacteria by any chance?

Possibly, but I doubt it. You could try filter sterilization.

If you don't see colour changes or precipitates after autoclaving should be ok.
PD: don't ask the same in different forums

there is no precipitation observed after autoclaving and i'll try filter sterilization next time. Thank you!!
