Hi there,

I was hoping somebody could shed some light on why I might use Guanidine as opposed to Formic Acid to extract insoluble amyloid from mouse brain? I am finding it difficult to choose an extraction protocol as there are so many variations out there! The protocol must be compatible with ELISA.

Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
